ABOUT YURI HAWAIANO
Singer best known as the vocalist for boy band Os Hawaianos. He founded the group which has included Tutu, Gugu, Dioguinho and Tonzão, thought the latter left the group in 2015. The group has released numerous singles as well as two albums in the Funk Carioca genre.
He was born Washington Luís Gay G. de Lima and grew up so poor in Jacarepaguá that he could not afford to go to school.
When their bandmate left, he did so without notifying the rest of Os Hawaianos and the band had just been about to go on tour.
His real name is Washington Luís G. de Lima. He has two daughters.
Paulo Castagnoli and Bruno Prado are both popular pop singers who've also performed in Brazilian boy bands.
