ABOUT ZAC THOMPSON

English defender and midfielder who began his professional career with Leeds United in 2011 and played with the team until 2015. In 2012 and 2013, he had an outstanding stint on loan to Bury FC.

He attended Byrchall High School in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan from 2004 to 2009. He played youth soccer with Everton.

He won the Bury Young Player Of The Season award for his play during the 2012-13 season.

He was born in Higher End, Wigan, Greater Manchester.

He has played with goalkeeper Marco Silvestri at Leeds United.
