ABOUT ZAKES BANTWINI

South African singer, record producer, and entrepreneur. His album "The Fake Book and Real Book: My Music Bible" was released in 2013. It was nominated in the Best Dance Album Category at the 20th SAMA Awards the following year. He was highlighted as the cover star for "Isigubhu" on Apple Music in early February of 2022.

Upon finishing his studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, he obtained a diploma in jazz and music performance.

He pursued a social entrepreneurship program at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria. His zakesbantwini Instagram has amassed 950,000 followers. His Zakes Bantwini YouTube channel has earned 120,000 subscribers.

He was born in South Africa, where he spent his childhood and upbringing. He has two children with his wife Nandi Madida, as well as three from prior relationships. He became a father for the first time at the age of 14.

He collaborated with fellow musician Black Coffee on the song Juju.
