ABOUT ZAMANI IBRAHIM
Singer and actor otherwise known as Zamani Slam. He originally began his career in the 1990s as a member of the pop group Slam. He then launched his solo career in 2002, rapidly becoming known throughout both Malaysia and Indonesia.
Though Slam was formed in 1990, he wouldn't join the group until 1992 at the age of 22. The band released their debut self-titled album the following year.
He has dabbled in film and television acting, appearing in the 1999 film Bara and the telefilms Syair Si Pari-Pari and Celak Pak andam.
In 2015, he was arrested for morphine possession and was later treated in a rehab facility for addiction. By the following year, he'd been declared drug free and had returned to the stage.
