ABOUT ZAMEER RIZVI

Canadian singer and guitarist who has become famous for his politically-charged songs, many of which critique aspects of Middle Eastern society. He has won acclaim with singles like "Glory of Love," "Mind Over Murder" and "Tatti."

He grew up spending time in a number of countries around the world, including Libya, Pakistan and India. In the 90's, he performed in the band Dead Shyre alongside two of his brothers.

His song "Win or Defeat" was used as a theme song for the 2010 Paralympic Games.

He is the youngest of four siblings.

His 2015 single "Crazy" features singer Mia Martina .
